{"id":2755,"date":"2013-10-22T10:30:20","date_gmt":"2013-10-22T10:30:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amphoreus2.gr\/olive-bread\/"},"modified":"2023-07-31T11:57:42","modified_gmt":"2023-07-31T11:57:42","slug":"olive-bread","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amphoreus.com.gr\/en\/olive-bread\/","title":{"rendered":"Olive Bread"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin: 0 0 20px 0;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.amphoreus2.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/oldsite\/cache\/catalog\/blog\/fc1da7257992fc36032e11db3df7a664_XL-600x315.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Serve with Greek dips such as Taramosalata, or as part of a meze platter<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 cup olive oil Amphoreus Premium or Gourmet<\/strong><br \/>\n1 cup orange juice<br \/>\n4 cups (approx.) self-raising flour<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n2 cups Green olives, or a mixture of both, chopped<br \/>\n5 spring onions, finely chopped<br \/>\n2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped<br \/>\nFreshly ground black pepper<br \/>\nSesame seeds (optional)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mix the orange juice and oil together in a large bowl and add the flour, using enough flour to form a smooth, pliable dough. Leave to rest for \u00bd hour while you prepare the filling.<br \/>\nPre-heat oven to 190\u00b0C.<br \/>\nFry the spring onions in olive oil until transparent, add the olives and stir over the heat. Add pepper and mint, mix well and remove from the heat.<br \/>\nTake the dough and split into 3 equal pieces.<br \/>\nForm 1 piece into an oblong \u2018loaf\u2019 shape and flatten. Place ? of the filling along the length of the dough and fold the dough over the filling to close. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
